Serenity in the
Cascade Mountains
Set in the rustic wilderness of centuries-old pine trees on 251 majestic acres, at approximately 3,600 feet in elevation, The Summit occupies 60,000 acres of private timberland to create a unique forest setting that is flowing with abundant local flora and fauna, two sparkling lakes and many creeks that can be explored by foot or via our many biking trails.
The region is marked by rolling foothills, flowing rivers, waterfalls, non-volcanic mountains, and rocky peaks, with the highest reaching upwards of 14,000 feet above sea level.
Catering to a range of sports enthusiasts, our facilities host a professional soccer and football field, softball field, running track, full basketball court, five-lane swimming pool, fitness center, beach volleyball court, and so much more.
During your stay, you may spot local wildlife native to the Cascade Mountains, such as grazing deer, red foxes, geese, and many songbirds native to the region. We experience all four seasons, making every part of the year a unique experience. Summertime brings warm, dry temperatures and snow-covered peaks, which punctuate the winter season.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, supportive hiking shoes, a rain jacket, and warm attire during the cold winter months. See our complete packing list on our FAQ page.
A Place to Explore
During your journey at The Summit, you will have the opportunity to enjoy activities like hiking, biking, river rafting, fly fishing, paddle boarding, hunting, and outdoor educational experiences. Guided excursions are available to Mount Shasta, the Trinity River, and the beautiful California Coast, where you can enjoy surfing and deep-sea fishing. There is a pursuit for everyone.
